my first birthday!!

I just turned one and had an awesome doggie party in our backyard. I made lots of new friends too! Thanks to all of you who came, especially Lucy, Clementine, Geronimo, Clara (Banjo), and Trout!
Of course I love my canine friends, but I really think the party would have been more fun if we had all hung out together! Thanks to AB and Sandi for playing with us!

So many great people were there, including my aunt and uncle, Libby and Mac, and my grandparents, Brian and Elise!!

Mmmm...hot dogs!

And check out the beers! Dogfish, Black Dog Ale, Flying Dog, and Turbodog!

This is my birthday cake...yummy!

The milkbone was made for the humans. Finally they got to taste the goodness.

These are the favors for everyone: humans, dogs, and even kitties-who couldn't make it (darn!)
Human favors were dog shaped cookies!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME"This cake smells SO good! Who's gonna get the first bite?...

Nice work Trout!! He was not afraid! Here's Trout going in again! Getchya some, boy! My mom said she's never laughed so much! The girls are a bit more delicate...

Check out Geronimo in his cool gear!

We want in!

This was me after everyone left...I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Time for bed!

I just want to say Thank Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu to everyone!!!! Woo hooooooooooo!

doggie heaven

Well, I've officially found heaven on earth. This summer my family brought me to an amazing place called Glenora. It was a huge forest with a giant pool of water, and there were no gates, fences, or even doors. I was free to run wild and explore all day long! I spent everyday chasing rabbits and deer, swimming, rolling in the mud, meeting new people, barking at strange noises, and having the time of my life. I've got lots of stories and here are some of them.

It was a really really long car ride up to Glenora, and I was excited the whole time!

This is the house we stayed in- it was made out of really big sticks! Mmmm!

I ruled the porch.

I went kayaking!

We went to some really cool waterfalls...I was quite the daredevil.

A proud moment.

One day I stuck my nose in a hole and next thing I knew, there were little things swarming around me and buzzing loudly. Then my nose blew up really big and I was cross-eyed for a few days.

I can't wait to go back!

meet the fam

I've got lots of great friends and family members that should be introduced. I'm a very lucky puppy! This is one set of my grandparents, Norfleet and Cindy. I love visiting them!

This is me with my mom and my Uncle Matt. I'm getting big!

This is me and my cousin, Lauren. We are best buddies!

This my first day home with Aunt Anna Blair.
This is Aunt Lori, and below is her pup, Milton, my new friend.

crockett no bad dog

I always thought my name was Crockett Barks Dale, but sometimes my parents call me Crockett! No!! Bad Dog!!! I get confused, but either way, I usually just yell back at them when they yell my name. I'm very proud of my vocal cords. Here are some times when I've been called that other name a lot.

Selwyn helped me get rid of this Azalea bush. Fun!

One more branch, and the job's done.Haoouuuuuuuuu....Yipee!!One day I decided the freshly planted flowers next to the stairs needed to be dug out. What an eyesore they were! Now, much better. Now, here's where that azalea bush used to be. Maybe there are more deep in the ground...let's see.Dig, dig, dig, dig

A week later, Dad decided to make a beautiful path and he tried to cover up my efforts to find the azaleas deep in the earth. So I fixed that. Look at my beautiful hole!!

This was the day that mom brought home a swimming pool! I LOVE water. It was such fun! Then I decided it would be fun to knock her camera out of her hand! I thought she'd like to get a new camera. Then I chewed up the pool.
