my buddy, selwyn

I have a friend named Selwyn and we have playdates every week. We both came from Seasons Gold Farm. I like to try to get her into trouble, like showing her the best spots to dig holes, and chewing up azalea bushes. We are working on a gardenia bush, but haven't quite finished it yet. We could play all day together...we share sticks and toys and cuddle in the shade when we're tired.

This is my dad, Brian. He loves to talk to me and ask me questions that get me so excited because I don't know what they mean, but I know they mean something great. "Do you wanna ____?" is my favorite of all. He packs his bags and leaves a lot for work, but he knows that I'll take care of mom when he's not here. Woof woof!!

This is my mom, Haines. She makes these things called "cakes" all day. She goes to this secret room downstairs and comes up every now and then, wearing an apron that tastes so yummy. I love to lick her apron and the bottoms of her shoes. I'm not allowed downstairs but sometimes I sneak down there to lick the floor and sniff around...there are so many wonderful smells! She talks to me in a funny way, with a real high pitch and a strange accent. I like to talk back to her too.

how my life started

at seasons gold with my new mommy My life began on Seasons Gold Farm, where lots of other dogs and puppies were there to play with. Then one day a couple of humans grabbed me away and brought me into their home...I was terrified at first. I buried my head in my new mom's arms and cried most of the way home. It was all so new, so I carefully explored this new place. The first few nights were really bad...I was put in a cage and I didn't have my brothers and sisters nearby to snuggle with--very scary. I cried and yelped most of the night. Pretty soon I got used to it and decided that this place wasn't so bad afterall.

Finally able to relax at my new home with a nice cigar (er...stick):I loved to sleep underneath the couch!Daddy's slippers are my favorite pillows...I love to snuggle!
